Chief Operating Officer Free Range Studios seeks an experienced executive to help manage growth, human resources and the organization's finances. The COO will work closely with the President and Vice-President to ensure that Free Range responds effectively to ever-expanding opportunities in the non-profit and socially responsible business sectors and to attract and retain top creative and management talent. This position is available immediately. The COO will be based in Berkeley CA but the job requires extensive travel and occasional extended stay in Washington DC. Additional Qualifications: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Creating and managing Free Range's operational budget * Setting organizational culture including human resource policy and employee development * New employee recruitment * Managing IT policy * Creating models for use of financial resources that will enable organizational growth Candidates will ideally have: * At least 10 years of relevant experience in corporate management * A strong background in mission-focused ventures * Familiarity with and interest in the Socially Responsible Business market * A master's degree in Business Administration
