This is a job summary which includes essential job duties of the position. More specific information regarding duties may be provided upon request for particular locations and facilities. The Global Supply Planning Director will ensure the customer-required service levels at maximum inventory turns and minimize total supply chain cost. He/she will develop, implement and influence best practices in the discipline of Supply Planning and develop and implement production and inventory optimization strategies for product promotions, new product introductions and excess/obsolete products. * Set-up and lead a global Supply Planning team for Every Day Writing (EW). The global team will include finished goods supply planners, and raw materials/WIP planners (dotted line). * Achieve the agreed Supply Chain KPI's (Line Fill, On-time, perfect order, inventory turns, E&O) * Execute global supply chain strategies (SKU reduction, flow optimization etc.) * Prepare and lead the monthly S&OP meetings for FW on a global basis * Liaise with the Operations and sourcing team in order to optimize the total Supply Chain (Lead-times, MOQ, service, quality checks at source). * Liaise with the Demand Review Dir. in order to review significant changes in demand, phase-in/out quantities. * Support the Sales team in service reviews with key customers. * Assist in PDR meetings as required * Assist in the implementation of regional ERP systems (Movex, SAP) and a global planning system.
