Job Description:
Knowledge of the many different chemicals used in the disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of technical medical equipment and surgical instruments. 2. Knowledge of human anatomy, microbiology, surgical procedures, therapeutic procedures and medical terminology. 3. Ability to communicate with clinical personnel to make judgments in all clinical and technical manners. 4. Ability to plan and direct the establishment of controls for the acquisition of supplies and equipment with consideration of such factors as usage, patient fluctuation, seasonal variations, emergency preparedness, value, cost containment, volume advantages and transportation cost....
