Job Description:
Ultimately you will standardize and normalize an MRO (Materials, Repair and Operations) Item Master and Vendor Master while meeting client milestone objectives. Specific responsibilities include: Manage working files and update the master file and other supporting information/databases Determine priority of work based on the clients delivery date Provide a rule set based on input from the project manager and client Modify data dictionary to support special contracted requirements Perform daily updates to process records Examine databases, catalogs, technical manuals and other documentation to develop noun-modifier combinations, supporting attributes (specifications), and a standard description Classify other supporting information such as manufacturer, manufacturer part number, locations, vendor and commodity codes Prepare standard descriptions for import into a standard database Determine relationship between parts and equipment to perform master parts lists Requirements Ability to distinguish between generic parts and original equipment manufactured parts Excellent verbal and written communication skills Competency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite Hands on parts/maintenance experience MRO knowledge a must Ability to work within groups and seek feedback for continuous improvement Immediate direct hire!
