Job Description:
Distill HSCS-M strategies into coherent overarching messages that can be integrated into routine and tailored communications aimed at each target audience. Support leaders in delivering the messages. Develop mechanisms to verify that key messages have been accurately received and understood by targets and desired responses are achieved. · Support special projects and key initiatives. Collaborate with appropriate technical and functional experts to develop and execute communication plans in support of specific programs and initiatives to enhance understanding, improve execution and optimize business results. · Examples include: Legislative and regulatory initiatives, e.g. Pedigree Corporate responsibility and accountability, e.g. Business Continuity planning Operational Excellence projects Process integration/standardization and facility rationalizations Trade Show key messaging National Sales Meeting segment and BU support Employee recognition and engagement Acquisitions and divestures · Project management and communication on projects with key internal clients; identifying opportunities to collaborate with internal resources/departments; and support overall Healthcare Supply Chain Services projects, as appropriate. · Develop communication content, and edit and proofread content for effective online, verbal and print communications. Ensure content is appropriate for internal and external audiences in terms of consistent tone, accuracy and on-brand language. Uphold and promote application of visual standards in projects. · Conduct research and analysis and provide periodic reports. · Keeps the customer at the center of all communications as subtle advocacy for the HSCS customer-centric business model. Qualifications Reports to: Vice President of Global Communications, Healthcare Supply Chain Services, with dotted line to HSCS-M segment group president. Supervises: External consultants. Informally supervises work of Global Communications Centers of Expertise to ensure execution meets business requirements. Education or Equivalent Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field is required. 10 years related experience with a large company serving a large customer base. Experience in marketing, sales or operations is beneficial. Knowledge/Skills Requirements: · Knowledge of strategic communications and marketing concepts, practices, principles, methodology and techniques.
