Job Description:
The successful candidate will serve as the lead algorithm designer of a next generation airport simulation model. This model will be used broadly within the aviation industry by consults and Government analysts alike and requires a technically solid design and underlying algorithms. Required: Solid knowledge of operations research and queuing theory. Must have experience in transportation modeling. Must be comfortable developing software in a modern language such as JAVA or C++. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be capable of working in a team environment. Desired: Knowledge of aircraft operations, airport operations, and/or air traffic control.
