Job Description: The Credit and Collections Supervisor is responsible for the accounts receivable collection and risk management for a portfolio of customer accounts.
The department staff interacts with customers, Sales Representatives, Customer Support, Distribution Center personnel, numerous departments and other business units located within the Cardinal Health organization.
The primary focus of the department is to collect the accounts receivable portfolio, ensure our customers have the ongoing ability to pay for the product and services supplied and identify if additional credit or risk should be reviewed.
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in business or finance area is preferred 2+ years of supervisory or equivalent Cardinal Health experience Minimum three years of collection and credit experience in comparable business is preferred Proficient with a personal computer and Windows applications Excellent oral and written communication skills Knowledge of the technical aspects of the credit and collections function is required Demonstrated ability to take initiative, guide and influence others toward the planning and accomplishment of goals Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve department and corporate goals Demonstrated ability to give feedback and state clear expectations Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict situations Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills required Demonstrated ability to state complex ideas clearly and tailor explanations to be understood by a diverse group Strong customer service orientation
