Job Description:
We are working with a government contractor who is seeking former military or government contractors (Recon Optical, Kongsberg) with experience in repair and maintenance. These positions will work closely to troubleshoot, identify and assist in battlefield damaged vehicles and systems used in combat.
Major duties:
Troubleshoot, diagnose, assess and assist in correcting malfunctions in field equipment.
Provide technical assistance and advice.
Assist in assembling and disassembling mechanisms and systems.
Direct general support and supervise repair crews as needed for the following equipment:
Tank turrets
Armament and Weapons systems
Tank, infantry and artillery fire control systems (towed and self-propelled)
Fighting vehicle
Cupolas
Laser range finders, observation devices, designators
Ballistic computers
Thermal imaging systems, periscopes, telescopes
Commander's weapon station/auxiliary sights, aiming circles, image transfer assemblies, quadrants, mount assemblies
Test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment

Job Requirements:
Qualifications
Former military MOS 45K with training completion qualification
Common Remote Operated Weapons Systems (CROWS) experience
Able to meet very heavy physical demands rating
Physical profile of 222221
Normal color vision
Minimum score of 100 in aptitude area GM.
Ability to obtain CONFIDENTIAL Security Clearance
