Job Description:
Cardinal Health will open new customer-care centers that will provide support services for Cardinal Health’s 50,000+ customers in the United States, including hospitals, pharmacies and physicians offices. These customers rely on Cardinal Health to help them provide product and solutions to enable superior patient care, and therefore depend on Cardinal Health’s Customer Care professionals to support them.
Responsibilities
• Monitor and maintain customer accounts, collections activity and payment negotiation
• Make collections calls to inquire on payment for invoices or deductions
• Negotiate and follow up on payment arrangements
• Reconcile customer accounts, respond to inquiries, and research discrepancies
• Interface with sales, operations, cash application and other credit and collections individuals
• Extensive telephone customer contact
Job Requirements:
Position Requirements
• 2+ years collections or related experience
• Familiarity of accounts receivable applications preferred
• Strong negotiation skills required
• Ability to resolve conflict situations
