Job Description:
Overview
Our Bartender plays an integral part in ensuring a fun, energetic atmosphere while exceeding our guest’s expectations with genuine hospitality. You will create and maintain the bar business and provide a FUN, welcoming atmosphere to all guests. You will ensure that the highest level of service and product standards is exceeding our guest’s satisfaction at all times.
Major Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Restaurant Managers, this position is responsible for efficient
operation of the bar systems and providing genuine hospitality to all guests.
Duties include:
* Creating a fun, energetic working environment with your team mates and respect
them as internal guests
* Practicing the proper procedures for receipt, storage, variance and
spillage of liquor, wine, and beer
* Complying with the Occupational Health & Safety Act
* Utilizing techniques to sell the bar and promote the full-menu service of
the bar
* Provide teamwork to all teammates and promote a sense of urgency
* Maintain the cleanliness of the bar
* Ensuring the bar is fully stocked
* Opening/ Closing and side duties as per the restaurant systems
* Ensuring safe alcohol consumption with guests
* Adhering to our bar menu specifications

* Smart Serve certification is an asset
* Prior experience with H.S.I./ Micros computer systems is a benefit
* Preference will be given to applicants with prior bartending experience
