Job Description:
Clinical Research Manager This position will manage the Clinical Research function, including protocol development, site recruitment and training, data collection, database creation, statistical analysis, study reporting and investigator review. Interface with customers, Medical Advisors, Clinical Advocacy, Engineering, Regulatory, Product Marketing, Reimbursement, Sales and Executive Management. Communicate clinical study data collection and budget status. Act as resource to internal and external customers on clinical research issues. Requirements Requirements: Ideal candidates will possess a minimum Bachelors Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited school of nursing or in a related health care field from a four-year college or university or equivalent work experience/certification. Three or more years of medical device, biotech, or pharma clinical research associate experience is required and management experience is preferred. Candidates should have knowledge of cardiac physiology and pathophysiology. Current knowledge and understanding of the hospital and health care environment, equipment, treatment methods, personnel roles, organizational issues and changing healthcare environment are essential. Excellent oral/written communication, presentation and project management skills are a must, as well as a positive, service-oriented attitude. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications is required. Candidates must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.
