Responsible for assessing, planning, directing and evaluating all Fox Chase Unit and Oncology Data Center functions in accordance with the philosophy and goals of Community Medical Center. Oversees the compliance in submission of oncology clinical trials to the CMC Institutional Review Board. Provides information and support for patients and families regarding research trials participation and informed consent. Oversees and assists clinical research nurses and associates to insure protocol compliance, abstracting, completion and submission of case report forms. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with clinical research trials staff of protocol sponsors (i.e. Fox Chase Cancer Center, ECOG, RTOG, pharmaceutical company) Requirements: Graduate from an accredited school of nursingBSN with Oncology Certification or Bachelor Degree in related area.
