Job Description:
Maintain / Repair or replace equipment when necessary. · Perform basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical and building repair work. · Follow all safety, boiler, wastewater treatment, and water softener procedures to assure safe and efficient running of the plant. · Maintain compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulation that affect Market Center operations. Comply with Federal Regulations and Company safety policies and practices to promote safety awareness in the Market Center. · Maintain proper records and documents of all work performed on plant and equipment in the facility. · Order necessary parts, tools, equipment, etc. in a timely manner by following company policies. · Maintain a complement of critical spares on the shelf for plant equipment and maintain parts inventory (quantity and value matches with the records). · Perform root cause analysis for any abnormal conditions/ failures, take required corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence of such conditions · Track utility consumption data, prepare reports and circulate it for management review, propose/ implement corrective actions or solutions to control these costs. · Work with the production personnel to schedule preventive and break-down maintenance · Communicate on regular basis with the group maintenance manager, plant management and update them on critical items · Communicate and co-ordinate with the equipment suppliers to resolve plant equipment related issues · Provide assistance to generate documentation required for AFE justification · Maintain a good library of operations and maintenance manuals for all plant equipment · Create preventive maintenance schedule in accordance with the equipment manufacturers recommendation/ industry accepted best practices for all plant equipment and implement it · Create time-effective work schedules. · Support an environment of continuous improvement by making/ implementing suggestions possible. · Hire, train and develop subordinates as necessary Qualifications Required Education: · Two year college degree or equivalent Required Skills: · Must be comfortable in using Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) · Basic knowledge of Inverter drives, Controllers, AC or DC power supplies · Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams, control logic and mechanical drawings · Team building · Problem solving Experience: · Minimum 5 years of maintenance work experience · Preferred to have two years of management experience · Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude. · Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Basic knowledge of required codes. · Ability to plan ahead and adhere to a proper schedule.
