Job Description:
The person will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining these mechanical systems. The Maintenance Manager will dismantle furnaces and other equipment for repair with the use of diagrams, sketches, operation manual and manufacturer specifications. He/she will also be responsible for lubricating and cleaning parts while either assembled or dismantled as well as make any mechanical repairs as necessary. The Maintenance Manager will have one direct report. Requirements: Qualified candidates will have 5-7 years experience working with furnaces and associated equipment such as forklifts and cooling tower etc. Candidates must have good mechanical assembly skills including the ability to determine and order required parts, taking into consideration that the downtime is minimal. This is a 3 shift facility so the Maintenance Manager should be available 24/7. The position will also be responsible for maintaining an effective energy conservation program while making sure the furnaces are operating at its highest efficiency.
