Job Requisition Number: 234744 Job Description: RESPONSIBILITIES: Establishes goals and develops implementation plans to make certain goals are enforced and met while maintaining satisfactory ratings on all audits. Completes self-audits on files and edit critical items. Ensures compliance of Wachovia Dealer Services policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations. Routes and communicates policy and procedure changes to associates. Complies with service level agreements for processing of prime, non-prime and National Account contracts. Evaluates and enhances workflow to ensure the department is adhering to the standard funding process. Develops relationships and interacts professionally with customers, dealers, state title clerks and other vendors to obtain information and resolve issues. Performs a variety of duties including the handling of rebateable items, dealer reserve accounts and unsecured titles and resolve any issues that may arise. Responsible for fraud management and reviews all documents including applications, booksheets and stipulations for potential fraud. Communicates suspected fraud and/or discrepancies to the Management team. Manages and controls operating expenses. Ensures funded files are completed and shipped to the Records Department within five (5) business days. Manage the loan processing operations within the region. Ensure all Loan Processors are trained to perform job functions through both on the job training and formal training classes. Communicate information through weekly associate meetings. Establish and maintain effective, professional relationships with all levels of management to ensure productive and successful operations. Hire, train, reward and focus on associate succession planning and team development. Prepare development plans and administer coaching, disciplinary actions, and terminations as needed. Effectively communicate corporate and department objectives on a regular basis. Motivate and create a positive working environment to achieve productivity and performance standards. REQUIREMENTS: Typically requires business related four-year degree or equivalent and five or more years of applicable experience. Requires strong interpersonal and problem solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interface with and motivate associates at all levels. Strong organizational skills and flexibility in a team-oriented environment. Ability to assess priorities, handle multiple tasks, work under pressure of deadlines, and be able to interact with all levels of individuals external or internal via telephone or in person. Must exhibit a high level of initiative and leadership skills along with team building abilities. Ability to organize and prioritize details. Ability to interpret or extract information and make independent judgments on contract fundings while providing the highest level of service to the dealers. Mon - Fri, 8:30am - 5:30pm
