Job Description:
Provides emergency response to Company Departments on equipment repairs. Provide leadership and supervision of various machine shop equipment and processes. Manage and train, appraise, coach and counsel employees, where applicable. This is a safety sensitive position. Major Duties/Responsibilities: Supervise, plan, schedule and direct maintenance and repair activities both at the shop and in the field. Provides detailed cost estimates and technical proposals for customers. Maintains work package documentation, and supervises nuclear work in accordance with established procedures. Foster inter- and intra-departmental teamwork to meet Power s Generation s mission. Manage resources by utilizing administrative systems and procedures such as SAP, the Desk Top Guide, PAOWF, the Managed Maintenance Work processes (MMW) and the Work Management System (WMS). Maintain and apply working knowledge of PSEG Standards for Business controls and meet management's expectations for effective internal business controls. Position Requirements: BS in Engineering or 10 years experience in an industrial machine shop environment. Demonstrated knowledge of machine shop standards and equipment. Must qualify and maintain Nuclear Badge and unlimited access to Nuclear Plants. Must obtain TQ 900 certification for supervising nuclear work in the shop. Working knowledge of code weld repairs, procedures and qualifications. Working knowledge of the collective bargaining agreement. Must have a valid driver s license. Experience: See Job Description
