Job Description:
Knichel Logistics is looking to expand our experienced team of transportation professionals. We are currently accepting resumes for the following full-time position:
Intermodal Dispatcher
Duties include, but are not limited to:
•Scheduling pick-ups and deliveries
•Tracking and tracing shipments
•Managing accounts from beginning to end
•Communicating via phone and email with customers, railroads, and carriers
Job Requirements:
All applicants must have the following capabilities:
•Computer and typing skills
•Excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition (Communication skills are a must because there is a lot of interaction with a wide variety of people.)
•Ability to work within a team
•Ability to multi-task and stay focused with an attention to detail
•Experience in transportation a plus
•Working knowledge of North America is expected
This position involves working a full time shift within our operating hours of 7am to 8pm. (Actual shift time is yet to be determined.) There may be days that involve staying later to finish certain tasks. After 3-4 months, you will be expected to work every fourth Saturday from 9am to 12pm.
