Job Description:
Determine and evaluate mining plans and optimize schedules in order to me present and future deadlines

Continually strive for improvements in current operational efficiencies and mining strategies

Evaluate systems and procedures to gauge effectiveness

Manage day-to-day operations of mining projects, producing reports and making recommendations while considering safety, the environment, recognized best practices, cost control and applicable regulations.

Job Requirements:
Possesses a B. Sc in Mine Engineering or Engineering Geology

3 to 5 years of both practical mining/geology experience and mine engineering experience

Eligible for certification as a Professional Engineer in Ontario

Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office and mine planning software are essential
