Position will remain posted and applications are accepted until the position is filled. Overview: Provides Project Management services for one of System Improvement s (SI) Strategic Consulting team; responsible for specific jurisdiction project implementation, oversight, planning support and reporting for work efforts in the assigned states. This position serves as a gateway to our national support teams ensuring that all operational activities are consistent with the standards of practice, policy, and administration established by the SI leadership and its Operations team. Project management services support a specific set of states and requires communication/coordination with child serving systems and an ability to coordinate an array of project activities. Project management, in addition to having a CQI function, is broadly defined as having responsibilities for specification definition, scheduling, prioritization, communication, analyzing and balancing work load, capacity with staff competency. Nature and Scope of Position: This full-time, regular position reports to the Director Systems Improvement Operations and requires work weeks in excess of 40 hours. Travel up to 35% required at times. This position is a matrix management relationship that works with Strategic Consulting (SC) Managing Director and their team of Senior Directors and Directors along all levels of management and staff in SI to provide technical expertise, advice, and structure around project management for their states project activities. The Project Manager works closely with the SC Managing Director, all members of the SI Services team and other Casey national foundation support teams who coordinate efforts to ensure alignment with 2020 planning goals and integration of work in SI. Works closely with other SC team project managers Casey Field office staff in jurisdictions and locations where Casey has direct practice offices. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for developing and implementing project plans and budgets for the specific assigned set of jurisdictions based upon SI s national management procedures. Ensures that business operations are conducted in an efficient, effective manner while complying with standards and practices for all relevant areas. Responsible for the Project Management function for the assigned Strategic Consulting team to ensure efficient and effective use of resources (time, labor, money) and to keep the work unit aligned and on track to achieve the SC team and broader Casey organizational objectives.
