For more information, visit www.prudential.com.The candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the mainframe back-end and front-end software for the Calculator Trading and Overlay Trading systems. The candidate will work closely with our PI WMS business unit and IT management and staff to identify application development solutions, research and evaluate alternative solutions for the most efficient and cost effective programming solution. The candidate will code new or modify and reuse existing programs and will document, test, implement and provide on-going support for the Trading applications. The candidate will provide highly technical consulting and will assist the functional business unit in meeting their strategic objectives.Strong COBOL / CICS / DB2 MQ Series background Strong knkowledge of XSL / SML for front-end development Strong understanding of Brokerage and trading interfaces/infrastructure Strong knowledge of different file transfer protocols (FTP, NDM Cyberfusion) as well as e-mail communications Good Communiction skills Prudential is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and is committed to diversity in its workforce.
