Job Description:
This position is for an Actuarial Analyst within the Chubb Specialty Insurance (CSI) Pricing Section of the Actuarial Department. This group is responsible for providing CSI with the financial analysis necessary for Chubb to sustain profitability and maintain a competitive position within the professional liability market. Expect significant interaction with Underwriting and Claims, as well as contact with corporate actuarial and accounting.

The major duties and responsibilities of this position include:
• Providing pricing support to the Private Customer Group, which includes Not-for-Profit, Private Commercial, Health Care customers and Crime. The product lines involved include all of the Executive Protection Professional Liability lines of business, with particular emphasis on Directors and Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability and Crime. Experience in these lines is a plus but not mandatory.
• Analyzing the profitability of these product lines, working closely with Claims and underwriting product managers to identify trends in the business and develop appropriate strategies.
• Developing appropriate rating plans and pricing tools to be used by underwriters in pricing individual accounts and providing actuarial support for rate filings that may be required.
