Job Description:
Oracle Business Manager is primarily responsible for Assists and maintenance of the Oracle E-Business Suite Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program. Other Responsibilities * Tests ERP layout to ensure the system is meeting corporate needs. * Provide day-to-day support of reporting needs, system functionality, workflow, and system security * Assess end user needs and recommend system or reporting tools that can be used to fulfill these needs * Continually evaluate current processes and collaborate with process owner, functional leads and IT to implement solutions that will improve the process * Assist the Business Process Owner in the development of their process vision and work with the Business Process Owner to acquire a full understanding of the process vision. * Act as a communication liaison between the business process owner and the functional users, helping the users to understand the process vision and communicating issues and progress toward the vision back to the process owner. * Act as a facilitator between the functional and technical groups to foster communication between the groups while working to achieve the process vision. * Provide on-going system related training for new and current employees * Act as primary interface with vendors on software issue resolution, software functionality, training opportunities and future software development needs. * Participate in established user group development opportunities. * Investigate, recommend and support the implementation of system upgrades, system security and continuous workflow improvements to enhance process efficiency. * Lead system related testing support of on-going production implementations including major patches or system upgrades. * Responsible for the set-up and maintenance of the system configuration related to the modules / systems that support their business process. * Share accountability of business process outcome with those being supported * Oracle E-Business suite 11i applications design and implementation * Ability to coach and train a workforce with various degrees of technical capabilities. * Technical proficiency in a variety of PC, basic Web authoring functions and Client-Server based applications. Education/Experience * Bachelors degree and may be expected to have an advanced degree in area of specialty and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures.
