Job Description:
Under the guidance of the Manager of Project Manager Competency Center - IT, this position is responsible for delivering Projects and Programs with quality, to plan, and within budget. Responsible to fill one or more roles on project teams (e.g., program manager, or release manager). Manages application, operations or business projects. Qualifications: * A relevant BS degree. * PMI Certification or Equivalent. * Minimum of 5 years of above average performance in a related area and minimum of 3 years of Project Manager experience to date. Experience with CMM/SEI a plus. * Demonstrated leadership skills. * Demonstrated skills in implementing application and process solutions utilizing a structured SDLC. * Demonstrated skills in developing and achieving project scope, costs, and planning. * Demonstrated skills in forming and fostering high performance, cross-functional teams. * Demonstrated Delivery of both large-scale Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications and custom developed applications. * Highly Effective communicator. * Demonstrated skills in quality principles, especially root cause analysis and problem solving. * Demonstrated experience with Quality principles and tools. Demonstrated business and technical problem solving skills. * Very strong analytical and business process development skills. * Demonstrated competence in staff leadership and project leadership tasks. * In-depth knowledge of application delivery, management structures, and reporting procedures. * Demonstrated experience in integrating enterprise applications.
