We are experiencing tremendous growth and success and are looking for a Regional Sales Manager for our Pacific NW territory. Preferred location of candidates is San Francisco or Seattle. The Regional Sales Manager should have proven leadership abilities (communication, relationship building, training & development, and hiring), as well as direct sales experience to manage all aspects of the territory. Responsibilities of this role will include: managing a team of 10 direct sales reps, creating an environment of success, team effectiveness/ productivity, ensuring sales reps meet/exceed sales targets, while supporting corporate strategy/vision. Job Activities: Generate revenue, manage accounts, manage development of personnel, support HR policies, recruit and retain high caliber sales/tech personnel to achieve sales goals, review personnel performance quarterly, develop career and skill plans. Qualify/manage sales opportunities: generate 4X pipeline. Ideal candidates for this role will have knowledge of or current sales experience in the areas of any of the following: ERP, CRM, SCN, Security, Integration/Middleware, Business Intelligence (BI), Data Analysis Applications, Database Systems, and/or data warehousing/mining applications. In addition to relevant technology experience, preferred candidates will possess expert level sales management, negotiation, forecasting, leadership, motivation, coaching, and hiring skills. Major Field of Study: Technology, IT, Marketing preferable.
