Job Description: Entry Level Geologist for a National Environmental Firm
Location: Sacramento (CA) Compensation:
Salary: $44,000 - $59,000 Annual Benefits: Outstanding package including Medical, Dental and Vision, Life Insurance, Extended Illness Bank, Long-Term Disability, Flexible Spending Plan, 401(k) Salary, Savings Plan , Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays, Generous Performance Bonuses
Qualifications: Successful candidates will possess a Bachelors Degree in Geology or Environmental Sciences or related field, minimum 1 year professional related experience with remedial work and site investigation. HAZWOPER certification also required. Knowledge of state/federal regulatory agencies also preferred. P.G. also preferred.
Job Responsibilities: Duties include coordination of routine field work, including sampling, drilling and investigations; Assist in design, permitting, construction, and operation and maintenance of environmental remediation systems; Perform and evaluate impacts on soil and groundwater; Data analyzation to support report review and preparation; and compliance to state/federal regulations as well as budget constraints.
