Job Description:
Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers. File, grind and sand repaired surfaces using hand and power tools. Apply primers and repaint surfaces using brush or spray guns. Review damage reports. Estimate body repair costs. Weld replacement parts, complete rust repairs. Repair and replace front end body, doors and frame and underbody components. Test drive vehicle for proper handling. Repair and straighten bent frames using frame underbody pulling and anchoring equipment. Plan work to be performed. Mask and repaint car bodies. Polish painted finishes.
Type of Work Experience: Frame straightening, Welding and soldering, Paint spraying, Front end components, Body components, Doors and frame, Underbody components.
Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service, Clean and maintain work space.
Job Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school.
Experience: 3 - 5 years.
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English, Punjabi, Hindi.
Essential Skills: Working with others, Problem solving, Continuous learning.
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Mask.
