Job Description:
Legal Advantage is an expanding patent and trial graphics firm seeking an energetic full-time employee for an entry level patent graphics position. For the right candidate, this may lead to a rewarding career with high potential for internal promotions. Your role will be to act as a link between the client (attorney/inventor) and our drafting staff, this is not a sales position.
Job Requirements:
Please consider carefully before you apply: this position may be less suited to a pure graphic designer because we are working with technological innovations. You must be the kind of person who instinctively knows what keeps an airplane in the air. What is the difference between a class 1 lever and a class 2 lever? Applicants will be verbally quizzed on matters like this. You should be the kind of person who takes things apart to see how they work, and can usually put them back together. Without this quality, you will not enjoy the work.
This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate of an industrial design or product design program. You should already possess a natural ability to communicate visually, whether it’s using your sketching skills or diverse understanding of graphic software. Applicants that are motivated have an interest in technology, intense attention to detail, possess the ability to work with multiple deadlines/projects, and good inter-personal skills will make you ideal for us.
Applicants must be able to work with minimal supervision. You must be the type of person who takes charge of a project and 'owns' the job.
