Job Description:
Seeking an energetic self-starter to assist Team In Training Staff with three special projects to recruit participants for the Nike Women’s Marathon:
1. Assist staff in developing and executing an Alumni recruitment event for the Nike Women's Marathon. Duties: Obtain donated goods and services, market the event, create invitations, manage RSVPs, etc.
2. Assist staff in developing a Women’s Walk & Talk Networking Hour to recruit for the Nike Women’s Marathon.
Duties: Create promotional materials, identify walking locations, and market the event.
3. Build awareness of the Team In Training program by coordinating "Street Team" efforts at local races and events. Duties: Identify events, recruit and train volunteers, manage "Street Team" materials, etc.
Job Requirements: -Excellent communication skills -Organized and detail-oriented -Manages multiple projects effectively -Works well independently -Enthusiastic and motivated
Hours: Temporary - 20 hours/week for 10 weeks. Most hours will take place M-F, sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. - very flexible. Occassional nights and weekends required. Position would begin approximately mid-March. $10/hour
