Job Description:
The Project Manager will be responsible for the management of large and complex projects and project teams made up of client and partner/alliance resources to deliver solutions and services to clients. The PM Interacts closely with the project managers, client, partners and alliances to define the project scope and to develop detailed project artifacts as defined by the PMO Methodology. Translating customer requirements into schedules and tasks using knowledge of the industry and delivery methodology, our candidate will assures proper conduct, documentation, and communications of assigned project engagements. Our ideal Project Manager will minimize barriers and maximize an individuals' success through coaching and mentoring of others on expectations.
Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:
* MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio, AutoCAD Lt.)
* Expert understanding of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)/PMI Discipline (Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communications, Risk Management, Procurement)
* Expert understanding of software development project life cycles.
* Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments and delegates.
* Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on an existing set of complex projects.
* Expert technical writing skills producing clear and unambiguous deliver ables.
* Seven plus (7+) years of experience in project management, with proven history of successful project management within the telecommunications industry
* Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering large complex infrastructure and software development projects, including project scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs and change.
* Have strong communication skills, both written and oral.
* Able to manage projects of Large to complex projects independently.
* Established leadership skills in a matrix organization structure.
* Experience in managing new functionality
* Experience managing a budget of 4 million across multiple projects
* Ability to interpret requirements and define schedule with MS project
* Ability to run critical path
* Proactive in processing, invoicing, budgets
* Experience in one or more of the following: IVR, SAP, Billing Systems/Back Office/Retail Systems/HR systems
