Job Description:
Sears Holdings Loss Prevention is dedicated to controlling and minimizing shortage exposure and profit loss through liability costs. As a Loss Prevention Detective in Training, you will strive to maintain areas of shortage control, internal dishonesty investigations, external apprehensions and case management, as well as safety exposures such as accident investigations and OSHA compliance. Full-Time Detectives are responsible for maintaining external case management and promoting investigations with the entire LP team. Full time Detectives work with the Loss Prevention Manager in regards to training and workload management. Loss Prevention reports to the Store Manager and District Loss Prevention Manager.
Job Requirements:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; strong organization and logical reasoning; Proficient use of database and PC workstations, including Microsoft applications; working knowledge of CCTV systems and associated hardware (experience in camera/system installation a major plus); A dedication to shortage control education; some college education preferred but not required.
