Carrier Rental Systems is a division of Carrier Corporation which provides year round, temporary HVAC solutions during emergency breakdowns, planned outages, equipment retrofits and plant expansions. CRS has an exciting opportunity for a Global EH&S/ACE Manager located in our Farmington, CT office. Reporting to the Director of Global Rental Systems, this dual-role position will oversee the EH&S and ACE functions for Carrier Rental Systems on a domestic and international level, which includes several recently acquired businesses (200 employees in the US, and 400 employees in the UK, Poland, Germany, Singapore, France and Holland).EH&S RESPONSIBILITIES:-Oversee EH&S related programs and activities for all GRS businesses, which involve rental HVAC equipment management, transportation, shipping and receiving operations, as well as office operations.-Partner with managers, supervisors and employees to integrate the culture of EH&S ownership, performance and compliance Implement EH&S standards, provide technical assistance on EH&S issues, and partner with the business on compliance, project management, and EH&S management issues.-Assist in implementation of an EH&S management system including leadership standards, risk assessment, and risk management processes. -Measure key metrics that drive the effectiveness of EH&S activities across the business. -Oversee the deployment of safety and environmental processes which demonstrate continuous improvement in preventing accidents, eliminating safety hazards, minimizing waste, and preventing pollution.
