Job Description: Overview Consulting Contracts Manager Arrow Electronics, Inc. Melville, NY At present, we have an excellent opportunity for a Consulting Contracts Manager in our Melville, NY location. RESPONSIBILITIES: -Work with Arrow line management to monitor outsourced and consulting service provider spend and performance, enforce contract terms, and review/negotiate supplier remediation plans for lack of performance in conjunction with process owner/project manager. -Develop, monitor, negotiate and update Service Level Agreements with outsourced application development service providers. -Develop and maintain a database of skills sets and associated costs across geographies and suppliers. -Interact with all levels of Arrow staff and vendor staff, including senior management. Understand and communicates organizational scope and direction. -Develop pricing methodologies, and perform financial analysis, as required. -Oversee a total contract value in excess of $25 million per year with minimal oversight. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Educational Requirements: -4 year college Business/ Finance Degree PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: -5 plus years of experience working in the role, including extensive experience working with outsourced IT service providers for both infrastructure and application development. -Strong negotiation, communication, relationship building, and financial skills -Applies a sound understanding of concepts and principles in own technical area gained through substantial applicable work experience along with formal training. Independently resolves issues as they arise. Applies specialist skills and knowledge and may help to define the standards and specifications within their specialty. -Good understanding of how the team integrates with others in accomplishing the objectives -Makes sound judgments based on practice and precedence. Assesses alternatives based on knowledge and past experiences in selecting the best approach. Escalates as appropriate.area. -Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to deliver tough messages and handle conflict (internal and external). Must have strong influencing skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
