Key Accountabilities * Direct and manage production scheduling and distribution of product to meet customer needs while assisting plant operations and supply chain with achieving productivity and cost metrics. * Achieve On-Time Delivery performance goals and objectives by understanding customer needs, scheduling paper conversion, and scheduling cost effective deliveries of product. * Maintain compliance with EHS regulations by developing action plans that address issues resulting from internal and external audits, keeping abreast of regulatory changes, submitting reports as required, maintaining proper documentation, and developing and monitoring exposure plans. * Achieve EHS goals and objectives by providing new hire orientation, updating facility policy manuals, providing appropriate training to employees, managing worker\'s compensation cases, overseeing contractor safety programs, and maintaining OSHA VPP Star Certification. * Assist in achieving efficient operation of roll and finished goods warehouse by managing inventories through use of electronic systems and tools. * Manage customer complaint response by: reviewing complaints; assisting production with determining appropriate corrective actions; updating database; providing appropriate statistics and reports; participating on various corporate teams; assisting with customer visits; and developing mill relationships. Scope: * Provide production scheduling, distribution, EHS leadership and quality complaint management for a converting facility with capacity of 70,000 tons and total personnel of 79. * Capital Employed - Buildings/Improvements - $1,100,000 - Machinery & Equipment - $3,700,000 * Headcount: - Direct Reports - Non-exempt - 2 - Indirect Reports - Hourly - 1 - Non-exempt - 1 Knowledge and Experience: * Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent. * 2 years industrial experience. * Proven manager * Demonstrated competence to work: - With minimum supervision - Effectively with second line management and hourly personnel. * Environment, health and safety knowledge and/or experience. * Consistent track record for getting results.
