Job Description:
Administer local anesthetics. Examine teeth, gums, and related tissues, using dental instruments, x-rays, and other diagnostic equipment, to evaluate dental health. Diagnose any abnormalities and plan appropriate treatments. Formulate plan of treatment for patient’s teeth and mouth tissue. Must be able to use air turbine, hand instruments, dental appliances, and surgical implements. Design, make, and fit prosthodontic appliances. Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, malformations of teeth, and related oral structures. Also, provide preventive and corrective services. And write prescriptions for antibiotics and other medications. Other duties may apply.
Job Requirements:
Applicant must have the distinction of DMD or DDS. Have at least 6 months work experience within the past 12 months. Have a current and unrestricted dental license to practice in any state. Must have and provide a copy of current CPR/BLS card. Be current on continuing education requirements. Must be current on immunizations and provide documentation. Eligible to work in the United States and provide documentation.
