Senior Software Engineer - UI Components
Attenex is looking for a world-class Windows application developer to join its fast-paced client applications team. The right engineer will be a key player in designing and developing the next-generation of Attenex’s groundbreaking document visualization and analysis software. This position requires a high level of skill and experience developing client applications that are well built, easy to use and very performance. Attenex is looking for a C# expert who has developed commercial Windows applications, but also understands the latest UI platforms, like WPF and Adobe AIR. Using Agile and Scrum methodologies, the developer will be expected to work closely with other team members to design and implement key software components, and contribute proactively to the success of the software development process.
Qualifications:
* C# expert with 5-7 years of Windows application development experience.
* Ability to create advanced UI components, supporting drag-and-drop, direct manipulation, animation, and complex, configurable styling.
* Ability to create advanced business logic components, supporting multi-threading, multiple providers, on-demand data loading, undo/redo, and the MVC pattern.
* Experience as a technical lead in a development team, or very senior individual contributor with mentoring responsibilities.
* Ability to work effectively in an agile environment, and communicate well with other team members, including user experience and program management.
* Must be able to work very productively with minimum supervision.
* Ability and desire to contribute to software process improvement.

Job Requirements:
* Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
* 5-7 years C# experience, developing Windows applications.
* Deep experience with UI and business logic components.
* Expert with standard development tools (Visual Studio, etc).
* Experience with distributed and/or client-server applications.
Bonus Points
* DirectX or OpenGL experience.
* Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodology.
* Experience interfacing with WCF or other web services.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Expressions.
* Experience developing Web applications, AJAX and CSS.
* Experience with Adobe Flash, Flex and AIR.
* Experience with Syncfusion or comparable UI toolkit.
* Experience with handling large amounts of data (millions of items/documents/records).
* Advanced SQL knowledge.
