Job Description:

We are looking for energetic individuals to assist with our After School Care program for youth aged 6-12. Daily duties include; administration, driving the 15 passenger shuttle for child pickup, and on the floor from 2pm-6pm with the children.
JOB OBJECTIVE
Ensure efficient and effective service delivery of a family centred quality Children’s programming as shown by having a sound knowledge of child development and skills in developing programs for the young child.
Job Requirements:
RESPONSIBILITIES
*Planning and evaluation of a developmentally appropriate Childhood Education programs.
*Collaboration with the family and other team members in developing program goals.
*Ensuring safety and physical care of children and the environment.
*Monitor program delivery and client record keeping.
*Service coordination for children/families assigned.
*Providing leadership within the classroom program.
*Participate in team meetings, case conferences internally and externally.
*Provide educational information for families
*Assist other museum departments & during special events as required
*Acquiring a class 4 driver’s license in a timely fashion to drive the After School Care shuttle daily.
POSITION CONDITIONS
*Must be Bondable and be willing to submit a criminal record check
*Team building and leadership
*Must have and be willing to use own transportation
