Job Description:
ASSEMBLER JOB MED DEVICE NEW HAVEN 17-18 DOLLARS/HOUR New Haven County CT
Perform electro-mechanical assembly steps in order to properly assemble the medical device and all of its sub-assemblies.
Build components, subassemblies, and final assemblies to meet the demands of manufacturing’s monthly schedule.
Packing instruments prior to shipping.
Minimum of 3 years experience working as an assembler in a FDA regulated environment. Or 5 years experience in an ISO registered or other federally regulated field (ie Military Spec).
Minimum of a high school diploma, AS degree preferred.
All candidates must have a strong background from working in a regulated field. They must have a strong understanding of the daily requirements of assemblers working in a controlled environment.
Skills and Abilities:
Must have the ability to follow assembly drawings, procedures, and schematics.
Read and write English proficiently.
Candidate must be able to work with hand tools and light industrial power tools.
A strong background with soldering and electrical assembly is a plus.
