Job Description:
Primary responsibilities
• Execute required FX spot and forward trades and prepare monthly analysis of FX gains/losses
• Establish and maintain controls to ensure fair pricing on all FX trades
• Coordinate with the global cask managers regarding optimizing operation cash balances, coordinating Intercompany transfers and analysis of FX exposures
• Evaluate the changes in FX exposure on a daily basis caused by payments, money transfer, third party borrowing, etc.
• Monitor the impact of changes in global cash balances (by currency) as reported by the company’s cash visibility system (Kyriba)
• Develop along with the Treasure Manager-FX a daily global FX monitoring system. This may require working with the Controller’s department as well. Ensure that the firm is hedging in the most efficient way and cost effective way possible. Evaluate different hedging vehicles (e.g. Options, swaps caps etc.
• Monitor the FX gains/losses reported by the non-US offices and work with the offices to minimize them
• Coordinate with the cash management group to ensure that the firm has sufficient credit line to meet the firm’s FX hedging requirements
• Interface with the heads of Finance of the local offices to assist in the management of the FX function to meet the firm’s needs
• In those instances where the non-US offices will utilize the FXall trading systems, work with them to install it properly and ensure that they know how to use it
