Environmental Planner Emphasis on Transportation Planning
Title: Environmental Planner - Transportation Planner
Location (s): Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA; Sacramento, CA
Term: Full Time Employment
Compensation:
Annual Salary: $55,000 $72,000 (Depending on Experience)

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will hold:
Bachelors Degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering doctrines, Planning, Geology or related field.
Extensive experience in project management as well as permit processing
Familiarity with CEQA/NEPA, Department of Transportation and Federal Highway Administration requirements
Strong communication, collaboration, technical writing and analytical skills
Minimum 2 - 5 years of environmental planning experience
Job Responsibilities:
Collect, analyze and interpret data as well as compose correspondence reports regarding project activities
Assist in research to determine potential impacts of proposed legislation or policy issues.
Research economic, demographic, fiscal, legal and technical variables for project impact as well as maintain demographic databases;
Perform generalized studies under direction of supervisor as well as demonstrate familiarity with GIS and MS Access.
Occasional presentations to public agencies or other organizations
