Job Description:
Responsible for the collection of outstanding consumer receivables for various clients and the establishment of contact with debtors, if necessary, in order to settle accounts.
•Negotiates payment terms with debtors, including payment in full, partial settlements and payment plans.
•Updates debtor information in CUBS system as required.
•Performs duties in compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
•Effectively and efficiently manages a file of debtor accounts.
•Manages all debtor correspondence. Cancels or initiates letter series as required in compliance with Company parameters.
Job Requirements:
All applicants should have at least one year in a collections or outbound sales environment. Our best agents are strong communicators with an entrepreneurial spirit and well developed time management skills. All new hires must be able to pass a drug screen and background investigation, as well as provide professional references.
