Job Description Posting Title: Manufacturing Tech Engineer Reference: 047050 Location: Minnesota Job Summary This is a Manufacturing Technology Engineering position to provide technical and project leadership in developing and deploying equipment, processes and products for new product development and scale-up. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide manufacturing leadership on the division's manufacturing processes Drive process improvement efforts through development, scale-up, and launch phases for new products Provide manufacturing input on capability assessments and cost estimates of new opportunities Provide support for running experiments and pre-production sample orders Work intimately with the EMMD laboratory and pilot operations on new product development opportunities Identify quality improvement and cost reduction opportunities on launched products. Candidate Profile This position requires a self-motivated, results oriented person with strong problem solving, interpersonal, and project management skills. Experience Engineering/Technical Degree with a minimum of 2 years plant or pilot plant experience. Proven leadership and communication skills. Compounding, web handling, coating, curing, and converting experience are preferred. Electronic business experience a plus. Green belt trained a plus. Travel 5% to 20% travel.
