This position is for a mid-level Software Engineer to continue development and management of our main software application,it is a Windows-based desktop application which interfaces with our electronic engine management system. The engineer will be involved in the continuing design, development, and testing of the application. This job will provide a great deal of freedom and flexibility, as well as require a great deal of responsibility. Work hours are flexible and the environment is a relaxed, productive one.
Job Qualifications
B.S. in Computer Science
3-5+ years industry experience in software development
Available to work full time (40 hours/week)
US Citizen, or necessary work visa
Job Requirements:
Required Skills:
Solid C++ programming/debugging skills in Visual Studio .NET 2003/2005
Strong understanding of object-oriented design and design patterns
Experienced in efficient user interface design
Competence working in a multi-threaded application environment
Familiarity with the Microsoft .NET framework
Ability to take ownership and work independently
Strong communication skills
Strong work ethic
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of the C# programming language
Knowledge of ADO.NET database connectivity libraries
Knowledge of serial port and USB communication
Familiarity with electronic engine management systems
Interest in the automotive aftermarket
