• Responsible for building and managing assigned individual relationships with high net worth clients based upon holistic, objective financial planning and advice. Focus on retaining current and attracting new assets
• Client relationship management focused on developing "first call" status from clients for all of his/her financial needs
• Coordinating communications among and between a client's account team, and across appropriate institutional and other business segments
• Build and solidify client relationships pre and post retirement through a distinctive experience that leverages the unique value proposition of the Wealth Management Group’s business
• Serves as TIAA’s primary point of contact for High Net Worth and affluent clients and institutional key influencers
• Should be entrepreneurial in spirit and prepared to help build a new business within an outstanding company with a stellar reputation


Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience
• NASD Series 7 and 66 (or combination of 63 and 65) and appropriate State insurance licenses
• Industry designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Mutual Fund Consultant (CMFC) preferred
• Minimum of 5 years experience in financial sales capacity providing financial planning services to high net worth clients.
• Proven track record in generating sales and relationship management to high net worth clients including broad technical skills in retirement plans, general investment matters and applicable tax, insurance and estate planning issues.
• Ability and experience in understanding a client's financial situation and personal circumstances, while providing thoughtful, appropriate advice for clients' situations aimed at securing confidence and financial services business.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and client face-to-face relationship building skills required for success in this role.
• Experience with Client Relationship Management systems preferred.
• Local or regional travel required.
