Job Description:
The Solution Architect will provide critical technical/engineering pre-sales assistance to the Attenex sales team, customers and prospects, demonstrating product benefits and value. Usability, integration, and/or implementation questions will be answered for Attenex clients. The Solution Architect is in a position to directly impact the company's bottom-line. This position can be based in a home office anywhere in the US as long you are near a major airport and are ready to travel 50% of the time. Domain experience in Search, eDiscovery, Litigation Support, or a Law Firm is strongly preferred.
Job Requirements:
• Must have a balance of technical knowledge and sales skills
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 7+ years of experience in a technically oriented, client-facing role – sales engineer, technical manager, consultant
• Proven track record in delivering value based presentations and demos to prospects and customers
• General understanding of relational databases, database models, client-server architecture, and SQL server
• Ability to operate independently with a high degree of energy, enthusiasm and flexibility
• Exemplary communications skills, both verbal and written
• Rock-solid trouble-shooter, creative problem solver and posses the ability to learn quickly
• Self starter, independent worker, can-do attitude and team player
• Travel will be required to fulfill above responsibilities
Bonus Points:
• Experience with different database and reporting environments (such as Crystal, Excel, SQL) a plus
• Experience with migration, merging and mapping of data and databases a plus
• Experience within the Electronic Discovery market
• Experience with Solution or Strategic Selling
• Experience team member selling to Fortune 500 companies
