Job Description:
The Talley Group, Inc. has been contracted to seek qualified individuals for a Mechanical Design position with our Aerospace client in Arizona. Our client manufactures components and systems for Business Class Jets.
This is a confidential search, the name of our client and exact location will remain confidential until the potential candidate has been screened and chosen for consideration. The following is our job listing:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design of mechanical components and assemblies with an emphasis on manufacturability, reliability, and maintainability.
Parametric modeling and design experience in Unigraphics will be preferred.
The candidate must be comfortable in a multitasking environment and be able to deal with often conflicting priorities.
Job Requirements:
Candidates MUST be Authorized to work in the United States.
EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of five years applicable engineering experience
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in the design of mechanical systems, such as those employed in aircraft seating and interiors.
Relevant competencies will include structures, complex surfaces, latching and kinematic movement mechanisms and cabinetry.
Materials experiences should include sheet metal, machined components, composites, plastics, and wiring systems.
Experience with FEA, DFM/A and related analysis and problem solving tools preferred
