JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE CURRENT REQUIREMENT

Position: Chief Designer: Tool and Fixtures Design for Aerostructures.

Job Description

Successful candidates will have a solid background in the design of Tools and Fixtures for the Aerospace Components such as Wing and Fuselage structures.

Responsibilities

1. Scoping study and understanding design requirements

2. Writing the statement of work

3. Technical guidance to the team

4. Technical coordination between the teams

5. Establish contact & awareness of Infotech within the target customers in the territory.

6. Maintain and develop customer contacts at executive ('C' Level) and operational levels.

7. Optimally position Infotech with key decision makers in customer organization.

8. Drive and initiate processes to ensure timely and high quality responses to RFx's.

Requirements

1. Minimum of 10+ years of experience in tool and Fixtures design in Aero industry.

2. Excellent abilities in working and integrating across organizational boundaries.

3. Demonstrable experience with offshore services providers in engineering design services is required.

4. Strong technical skills in engineering design services with a keen understanding to understand the customer pain points and develop solution approach for each customer.

5. Recognized team player, high priority on "working through others".

6. Effective operational orientation and strong "can do" attitude.

7. Proven capability to work in an unstructured and dynamic environment. Self starter!

8. Creative problem solver.

9. Designing and negotiating "implementable" recommendations and solutions.

10. High degree of self-initiative.

11. Excellent oral and written abilities.

12. Ability to travel (minimum 50%) to maintain presence with customer base.

Education

University Degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
