This position is located around the Gulf Coast in Texas, please make sure location is good for you, if you are willing to relocate, please specify in email.
Interprets EH&S regulations and supports Drilling, Production, Cased Hole and Construction operations at field locations Compiles and maintains EH&S data to prepare monthly EH&S statistical reports and safety presentations for location safety meetings.
Responsible for the implementation, coordination and documentation of EH&S required training.
Supports Operations' supervision in conducting facility inspections, Field and Contractor Safety Reviews.
Ability to offer innovative solutions to solve difficult issues and work in a team environment.
Must be capable of researching issues and bring resolution to complex regulatory policies in a cost effective manner, and assist in the implementation of the final solution.
Participate in team(s) to accomplish annual E&S Department goals.
Bachelor of Science Degree required from an accredited College or University in a science or engineering related discipline.
5 - 10 years of progressive applicable EH&S work related experience in the oil and gas exploration and production business.
Must be willing to travel approximately 50-70% of the time, mostly within the Gulf Coast Region.
Ability to project a strong professional image and work in a team atmosphere.
This position is additional staff as the company is increasing operations in the region.
