Job Description Reporting to the VP, you will manage a team of 20 staff located in the Miami office and be responsible for: Providing direction to the company ??s short term strategy. Leadership to the organization in areas of management, operations and client relationships in order to achieve the goals of the organization. Standardizing processes for the integration of all departmental functions. Ensuring company policies are followed, and create an environment that fosters training/development of employees and motivates them to excel. Interacting with Engineering and Production to develop assembly procedures, test requirements, specification of components and equipment. Ensuring manufacturing capabilities meet or exceed all industry and customer requirements for cost, quality and responsiveness as company continues to grow. Playing an active role in senior-level negotiations with clients and manufacturing partners. Job Requirements MBA preferred, BS/BA required in Business, Technical Engineering Discipline, Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering. Experience with Six Sigma, DFM, or Lean Manufacturing preferable. Knowledge of PCB sales, profit and loss management, regulatory compliance, and employee/customer motivation and retention preferable. Hands-on operation of a company ??s manufacturing function (both in-house and sub-contracted). Budget management and Cost controls\management knowledge required. Some travel is required.
