Job Description:
Work for a premier supplier to a diversified range of aerospace, defense and aircraft industry leaders in the precision machining, fabrication, and assembly of tooling and components including space flight hardware, and perform work at an even higher level of manufacturing and assembly expertise.
Responsibilities:
A. Applies ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100 standards at all levels
B. Produces CNC programs
C. Design or modify existing cutting tools
D. Improve existing jobs to make them more efficient
Requirements:
A. Professional degree in mechanical engineering technology or equivalent, with five years experience as a programmer
B. English spoken and written
C. Good knowledge of cutting tools and holding fixtures
Job Requirements:
Proficiency at modern 3, 4, 5-axis CNC machine operation.
A. Knowledge in software engineering, information systems design, engineering services and manufacturing in support of NASA, DOD, and the aircraft industry.
B. Four major service areas are: precision machining, brication/welding and sheet metal, assembly and testing, and metal finishing.
Programming Software (CAD/CAM):
A. Pro-E Wildfire Design Software
B. Burghoff Engineering Image 3-D CAM system with post processors for all CNC machines
C. Surfcam Programming System
D. Intergraph Microstation
E. Shop Pro software
