Job Description:
Constructs and revises design drawings from Engineer’s or designer’s markups to support generating station, switchyard, substation, and corporate projects for the construction or maintenance of electrical utility facilities. The CAD Operator will use and develop standards, work methods, compile parts, blocks, and details that create more accurate and understandable drawings. The CAD Operator will also maintain and update electronic drawings in the company’s document management system.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
Proficient use of the following CAD software:
Autodesk products: AutoCAD V8, Inventor
Bentley products: Micro station
Microsoft Office
Desired Qualifications
Autodesk Intent
AutoCAD Electrical
Promise (ECT)
Product Stream
Autodesk Vault
Associates Degree in CAD
Utility company experience
